The PC Users of Finland (PCUF) association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit PC user group. Our goal is to promote the use of personal computers, mostly (but not limited to) Intel based, running all operating systems.
PCUF is a member of Finnish Information Processing Association (FIPA). We are the second largest member society of FIPA, with 3052 members (1998).
We organize meetings and excursions. Our membership services include a BBS with Internet connectivity and this web server, newsletters and magazine (PC-KÄYTTÄJÄ). Our members also receive benefits provided by FIPA: subscription of ITviikko (a weekly newspaper) and one of the following magazines: Tietokone, Prosessori, Macmaailma, Hifi, KotiPC, Pelit or Tiede 2000, free law advice services, and number of miscellaneous discounts.
